Project Background
Lung cancer represents an immense burden for patients and their loved ones. In observance of Lung Cancer Awareness Month, biotechnology leader AMGEN launched the internal employee race "K-RACE".
The mission: unite employees across international subsidiaries to run 5,000 kilometers together. To coordinate and verify this effort, a dedicated, highly motivating mobile app was required.
The Challenge: 30-Day Turnaround
The urgent deadline required zero friction in design and engineering iterations. The telemetry engine needed to track multi-device running sessions without manual setup hurdles for employees.
Outcome
The app launched on schedule. The international AMGEN team effortlessly surpassed the 5,000 km target, boosting team morale and raising crucial contributions for cancer research.
